Regenerating ecosystems

Watershed restoration, agroforestry, and biodiversity programs co-designed with forest-dwelling communities — turning conservation into climate-resilient livelihoods.

Overview

The approach.

A degraded watershed loses 60% of its rainfall to runoff. A regenerated one stores it, recharges aquifers, and turns drought-stressed villages back into year-round farmland.

Our environment programmes are long-haul: watershed treatment cycles run for five years, agroforestry plantations are audited for survival, and every project is co-owned with the gram panchayats and forest committees that will steward it long after we're gone.

Our approach

Four pillars, one goal.

Agroforestry

Native-species plantation drives, seedling nurseries and survival audits.

Biodiversity

Wetland, mangrove and grassland restoration across nine hotspots.

Circular livelihoods

Solid-waste, plastic and bio-waste collection enterprises run by SHGs.
